If you didn't make it to Charleston to attend the TrAIL hearing taking place today and tomorrow, you can watch a webcast here.

The complainants will be presenting evidence that Allegheny/FirstEnergy shell company TrAILCo did not comply with clearing and right-of-way stipulations in the PSC's final order.

In other words... tune in to hear about how these corporations have run over the landowners and ruined the environment during the construction of their unnecessary project.

This is absolutely driving me crazy to not be able to listen in on the shennanigans. Sounds like everyone on the citizen side is doing a good job and Melick is struggling as usual?

Yup. Testimony of landowners this morning about how they were treated. The Melick jack-in-the-box is trying to have their entire testimony and exhibits disregarded.

Landowner to Commissioners: "Do you want the truth or do you want what they want you to hear?"

Melick overruled... landowners' testimony valid. Now the Castles are kicking Melick's butt as he tries to cross examine them. It's about time someone slapped him down with the truth. :-)

Great news Keryn. It would simply be even more "icing on our cake" to get a ruling in favor of the truth and the satisfaction that the citizens have not only been heard by the state but also have the state TAKE ACTION on the citizens behalf! Bravo to all the people of West Virginia for standing up for what is right! This state belongs to the citizens NOT the corporations!

I talked with Bill tonight and he's going to have more about it on his blog soon. He was actually there... I was only a fly on the wall (how many times have we wished to be flies on the wall?) and I probably missed quite a bit while trying to get some work done. I saw enough to keep me laughing though :-)

And I think that's enough for this venue...
