PATH Answers their own Answer (and your comments) at FERC

3/5/2011

PATH seems to have been having a real frowny face day on Friday, which caused them to act out on their sadness and frustration.

Check the Maryland PSC docket (Case 9223) for their answer to motions requesting that dismissal be subject to conditions on refiling.

Also check out PATH's answer to the many letters from ratepayers to FERC regarding the Formal Challenge to PATH's Formula Rate Annual Update that was filed on January 21.  Some letter writers were individually singled out for letter writing excellence!

The next time PATH is feeling down they should just watch this instead of acting out.  Turn that frown upside down and you'll feel better without consequences or lingering regrets!

I'm afraid that "puttin on a happy face" is "beyond the scope of the annual update and formal challenge." It seeems as if monique and Randy have been sharring the same crying towel over the past few days. They have worked together so well on cryin for the WHAAAAAA-MBULANCE on this one. If the refusal to end this and the continual crying isn't enough evidence to the public at large that PATH has been a huge scam all along, then I don't know what is. I hate to see a grown man(?) cry but it sure was nice of Monique to be there to catch Randy's tears upon her big strong shoulders. I cannot believe Allegheny/First Energy/ Potomac Edison/ whoever the heck they are these days would proceed with continually emberassing themselves.
I would think now that Mr. Haney, the panhandling peddler, is my friend at First Energy WV; MD and VA have Mr Haneys of their own. It's time for first Energy to "clear house" of the emberassments to their company, save face as best they can, and move on in attempts at trying to restore a beaten down reputation these clowns have created.
From it's inception, PATH has been a RIDICUFARCE. PATH thought they would simply walk through the door, find little opposition, and do business as usual. As it turns out, a dedicated group of individuals have banded together as ONE in opposition and exposed the boondogle for what it truly has been all along. In this case ( and every one from here on out) "business as usual" won't be done. The citizens have won this one and have become awake and aware. It's absolutely time for PATH to admit defeat and all other corporate entites to realize the citizens are tired of being walked on.
PATH, QUIT WASTING MY MONEY!

Soooooo.....I'm confused. In their whaaaaaaaa-letter, Path identified 5 "several new unsubstantiated allegations", the first of which is (1) PATH LLC fraudulently purchased land for the Kemptown substation. However, PATH then goes on to deny that "have engaged in any fraudulent activity in conjunction with the purchase of
property in the River’s Edge Community". Huh? Guess this was a Freudian slip from Dandy Randy and Monique. But now that it's out there, let's go ahead and address the slimy activity they've participated in with regard to purchasing property for the "Kemptown" substation (which of course is not located in Kemptown at all). Jeez, these people can't seem to stop tripping over themselves.

Yeah, I noticed that. Someone may be confused about exactly where Rivers Edge is located (It's in Loudoun County, Virginia, Randy and Monique), but there were quite a few letters from Maryland also and I can't remember what every single one of them said, so I skipped over it..... here. :-)

Don't let me stop you, Keepin it honest. I'm a huge fan of honesty... knock yourself out!!

    About the Author

Keryn Newman blogs here at StopPATH WV about energy issues, transmission policy, misguided regulation, our greedy energy companies and their corporate spin.
In 2008, AEP & Allegheny Energy's PATH joint venture used their transmission line routing etch-a-sketch to draw a 765kV line across the street from her house. Oooops! And the rest is history.

    About
    StopPATH Blog

StopPATH Blog began as a forum for information and opinion about the PATH transmission project.  The PATH project was abandoned in 2012, however, this blog was not.

StopPATH Blog continues to bring you energy policy news and opinion from a consumer's point of view.  If it's sometimes snarky and oftentimes irreverent, just remember that the truth isn't pretty.  People come here because they want the truth, instead of the usual dreadful lies this industry continues to tell itself.  If you keep reading, I'll keep writing.
