Sadly, the actual nominees probably won't be as qualified. ;-)

You should really try to put your name in Keryn. Ya never know. If this were JEB or Marco or Kasich we would get awful 'go alongs' but not this time I sense. You should present this website as your work portfolio.

If we're going to be serious, my work disqualifies me, even if I was qualified. I still have an open proceeding before the FERC Commissioners. I only hope the new Commissioners are focused on consumers, and not what's financially best for big utilities. FERC is supposed to act as a regulator who balances all the interests in utility issues. Consumers have a very small voice in that building and therefore FERC needs to step it up.

Before the election, Clean Line couldn't find any utility customers. After the election, they will get laughed out of the room if they try to sell their dinosaur to a utility company.

I agree, Joel. Utility uncertainty has shot through the roof. Who would want to commit to a transmission line to nowhere that may never be needed?

About the Author Keryn Newman blogs here at StopPATH WV about energy issues, transmission policy, misguided regulation, our greedy energy companies and their corporate spin.
In 2008, AEP & Allegheny Energy's PATH joint venture used their transmission line routing etch-a-sketch to draw a 765kV line across the street from her house. Oooops! And the rest is history. About
