Yesterday marked the first two Missouri PSC public hearings on Clean Line's Grain Belt Express project.  Additional hearings will be held later this week, and in early September.  Get dates, times and locations here.

Missouri showed them!

Hundreds packed the two public hearings and dozens spoke out against the project.
I think Clean Line infused spokeswoman Cari VanAmburg with a little too much perky.

"500 megawatts of clean wind power for the state!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
You're going to be seeing this in your nightmares for years.

You believe her, don't you?

Did she say it would cause Missourians rates to go up?

That's what I understood her to say. Maybe she cannot tell a lie, which doesn't seem to be a problem for the rest of the Clean Line crew.

Sort of sounded that way, but I think she was just talking so fast the "not" got lost.

Trying a little too hard with the forced smile Cari, you come off looking more like some hawker at the state fair peddling cheap Chinese-made Ginsu knives, and inferior cookware.

My apologies to state fair hawkers. My comparing them to Clean Line employees would only give state fair hawkers peddling cheap Chinese-made Ginsu knives a bad name.

I would liken it more to drug pushers.

Gimme a C!
Gimme a L!
Gimme a E!
Gimme a A!
Gimme a N!

What does that spell?

500 MW of CLEEEEEEEEEAN Wind energy

Toothy, artificial grin.

What's that girl been smoking? Maybe they were handing out more than t-shirts and canned speeches at the Clean Line truck in the parking lot!?!

Why is Carrie shaking her head no while promising "clean" wind energy for the state? Her body is saying no while her mouth is saying yes. Also shifty eyes. And scrunches up her forehead while telling lies about jobs and tax revenue.
